English, French, Swedish and Danish into Spanish.

Dear sir/madam,

I am a professional freelance translator from English, French, Swedish and Danish into Spanish.

I've been working as a translator for 7 years (3 years as an in-house proofreader/translator/project manager) in a wide range of subject matters and with almost every format available on the market (Transit XV, Trados 6.5 and SDLX 2005).

I am specialised in technical translations (machine-tools, medical instruments, medical, pharmacology, chemistry, legal, financial, automotive...) and in litterature thanks to my excellent writing skills.

I am graduated from the University of Granada, Spain (MA in Classical Studies, 5 years) and from the University of Stockholm (degree in Scandinavian Languages, mainly Swedish, 2 years). I have been living in Sweden for 6 years, both studying and working, with stays in Denmark, Norway, England (one year) and Greece (4 months, Modern Greek studies).

I've been providing quality translations to major companies and European Institutions through the most reknown Spanish translation agencies (WordWorks, Convey Translations, Celer Pawlowsky, Global Translations, Lexic S.L.) as a technical/legal translator and since 2000 to the two biggest Spanish publishers (Tusquets S.A. and Planeta S.A.) as a litterature translator from Swedish and Norwegian.
